A deeper level of care, guidance, and reassurance during pregnancy that supplements your prenatal care with enhanced prenatal education.
Pregnancy is a season of profound change — physical, emotional, and deeply personal. While routine prenatal care is essential, many families seek more than what standard appointments in busy practices can provide. They desire more time, education, and individualized support, which is where midwife-led prenatal support comes into play.
Many parents are surprised by how little one-on-one time they actually have with their provider during prenatal visits. Even when total time in the office exceeds an hour, the portion spent directly with the provider is often only 5–15 minutes. In busy practices, care is frequently shared among multiple rotating providers, making it challenging to build a consistent relationship and sometimes allowing important questions or aspects of care to be overlooked.
The Enhanced Prenatal Support & Education Program is designed for families who desire thoughtful, attentive care from a midwife — without replacing their primary prenatal provider. This supplemental prenatal care program offers space to slow down, ask questions, feel heard, build a trusting relationship with a birth professional, and prepare for birth, breastfeeding, and postpartum with confidence and clarity.
This is a private, midwife-led prenatal support program that enhances your prenatal education and complements your prenatal care. It blends evidence-based information with emotional support, practical preparation, and grounded reassurance.
It is ideal for families who:
This program does not replace prenatal care with your obstetrician or midwife. Instead, it enhances and supplements your experience by offering time, presence, and guidance that traditional visits often cannot provide. Additionally, this program may serve as an alternative to traditional childbirth classes.

Experience 6 private sessions (approximately 60-90 minutes each) focused on enhanced prenatal education and midwife-led prenatal support. Benefit from supplemental prenatal care that includes private childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care preparation. Choose from in-office or virtual options with flexible scheduling throughout your pregnancy. Each session provides personalized education and emotional support, customized to meet the unique needs of the client. Enjoy evidence-based guidance delivered in a calm, approachable manner.
Investment: $550
Grounding support for the beginning of your journey includes enhanced prenatal education and midwife-led prenatal support during the suggested timing of 5-14 weeks. This process involves a brief review of your health, pregnancy, and birth history, alongside an overview of prenatal care—what to expect and the upcoming milestones. We will address managing nausea, fatigue, and low energy while covering nutrition basics and a review of supplemental prenatal care options. Additionally, you'll learn the do’s and don’ts of pregnancy and receive emotional well-being and mental health support. It's essential to ensure that the delivering provider and birth facility align with your goals and needs. We will also address any questions or concerns about pregnancy, offer evidence-based education, and facilitate communication with your primary prenatal care provider so you feel supported, informed, and confident in your care. For those interested, there's an optional sneak peek at the baby via a bedside limited, non-diagnostic ultrasound.
Supporting your body — and preparing your space during this crucial period of enhanced prenatal education
Suggested timing: 16-22 weeks

- Managing common physical discomforts
- Gentle movement and rest
- Baby gear essentials and registry guidance
- Selecting a car seat and safety basics
- Babywearing foundations
As part of our midwife-led prenatal support, we address any questions or concerns about pregnancy, offer evidence-based education, and facilitate communication with your primary prenatal care provider so you feel supported, informed, and confident in your care. Additionally, we provide supplemental prenatal care options, including an optional sneak peek at your baby via a bedside limited, non-diagnostic ultrasound.
Building confidence, preparation, and community through enhanced prenatal education is essential during this period, suggested to take place between 24-28 weeks.
We will start by reviewing past breastfeeding experiences, if applicable, and discussing current knowledge, personal experiences, and preferences about infant feeding. The session will include an introduction to breastfeeding, covering latching, positions, and getting off to the right start. Participants will learn about gear, pumps, and alternative supplies, including breastfeeding alternatives such as exclusive pumping, bottle feeding donor breast milk, or bottle feeding infant formula.
Additionally, we will cover how to bottle-feed a breastfed baby, how to use a Milk Bank if needed, and the best practices for safely storing pumped milk and preparing formula. It's important to understand how your partner and family can support breastfeeding and setting boundaries, as well as knowing when to seek help.
We will address any questions or concerns about pregnancy, provide evidence-based education, and facilitate communication with your primary prenatal provider to ensure you feel supported, informed, and confident in your care. This midwife-led prenatal support also includes an optional sneak peek at your baby via bedside limited, non-diagnostic ultrasound, ensuring you receive comprehensive supplemental prenatal care.
Understanding your options and moving with your body is crucial during this stage of pregnancy, particularly between 30-34 weeks. Enhanced prenatal education can help you navigate the various pathways available for childbirth, including vaginal birth and the labor process, as well as the anatomy and physiology of birth. Consider both cesarean birth and VBAC as valid options, whether you are planning a cesarean or facing an unexpected or emergent situation. It's important to recognize the emotional phases of labor and develop coping strategies for the sensations of birth. Utilizing movement and gravity throughout labor and pushing can also be beneficial. Hands-on demonstrations of labor and birth positions will enhance your understanding. Additionally, preparing emotionally and physically for different birth outcomes is vital, as is supporting bonding and feeding regardless of your chosen birth mode. Midwife-led prenatal support plays a key role in ensuring you receive the right birth partner support and advocacy. You will also learn about common birth interventions and the differences between medicated and unmedicated birth options. Informed consent is essential as you navigate any unexpected changes, and a discussion about your birth preferences will provide resources for effective birth planning. We encourage you to address any questions or concerns about pregnancy, offering evidence-based education while facilitating communication with your primary prenatal care provider to ensure you feel supported, informed, and confident in your care. As an optional feature, you may also receive supplemental prenatal care through a sneak peek at your baby via a bedside limited, non-diagnostic ultrasound.
Gentle confidence for the first days and weeks with enhanced prenatal education and midwife-led prenatal support can make a significant difference. Suggested timing: 30-34 weeks.
Making informed decisions on newborn medications and procedures, including Vitamin K, eye ointment, circumcision, vaccinations, and tongue tie revision, is crucial. It's also important to understand required newborn screenings such as metabolic, CCHD, and hearing tests. Choosing a pediatrician or newborn care provider is a key step in supplemental prenatal care.
Holding, bathing, hygiene, and newborn care practices, along with diapering and daily care, are essential skills to learn. Understanding normal newborn sleep and behavior, as well as infant crying and soothing techniques, will help parents feel more at ease. The benefits of skin-to-skin care and creating safer sleep environments, including co-sleeping and bed-sharing, should not be overlooked.
Address any questions or concerns about pregnancy, as this offers evidence-based education and facilitates communication with your primary prenatal provider, ensuring you feel supported, informed, and confident in your care. Additionally, consider an optional sneak peek at your baby via bedside limited, non-diagnostic ultrasound.
